This article is about modern scientists studying the crystals in the rocks of the moonthrough which we understand the age of the moon and how it was formed. The Moon was born 4.46 billion years agomost likely as part of the Earth split off by impactThe most important thing about the moon is that it can stabilize the earthaffect the weather and the survival of life.

I think that this news article has given me better understanding of the origin of the moon and its importance.
