This article is about modern scientists studying the crystals in the rocks of the moon, through which we understand the age of the moon and how it was formed. The Moon was born 4.46 billion years ago, most likely as part of the Earth split off by impact. The most important thing about the moon is that it can stabilize the earth, affect the weather and the survival of life.

I think that this news article has given me a better understanding of the origin of the moon and its importance.
